2

Get ready for your appointment

Once your appointment is booked, we’ll take care of the rest. You’ll receive:
A booking confirmation with the details and a Google Meet link for your video call.

A follow-up email from our admin team with everything you need to know before the call. This includes:

  • Documents required: Like your loan agreement, personal guarantee, or any other relevant documents.
  • ID verification: We use a secure digital tool called Amiqus ID. You’ll receive a link where you can upload your ID and a quick selfie—no app needed.
  • Terms of business: Easily signed via e-signature.
  • Invoice for payment: All our fees are fixed and transparent, so there are no surprises.
You’ll have everything in place before the appointment, ensuring that it goes smoothly and quickly.

3

The video call: getting your legal advice

On the day of your appointment, we’ll meet via a secure Google Meet video call. During this call, one of our experienced legal consultants will:
Confirm your identity and go over the documents.
Walk you through the legal advice in clear, simple terms—no jargon, no unnecessary legal talk.
Make sure you fully understand the risks and obligations you’re taking on, whether it’s a personal guarantee, a legal charge, or any other type of ILA.
Ensure you’re entering into the agreement freely, without any pressure or influence.

4

Sign and complete

After your call, the next steps will depend on your lender’s specific requirements.

There are many different ways to complete the signing process. From signing with a witness in your own time, signing during your video call with us, to many other weird and wonderful options we’ve got your back.

With so many variations, it’s essential you work with a specialist who understands the exact requirements for each situation.

iLA are extremely knowledgeable in different lender requirements and are always one step ahead. We guid you through the process so you’ll always be fully prepared, avoiding any unnecessary delays.
